1. Who We Are

Assurentry (“we”, “us”) provides U.S. Agent services for foreign facilities regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We are a private company and not affiliated with the FDA.

2. Scope

This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal data when you visit our websites, use our tools, submit forms (e.g., /checkout?intent=appoint), or interact with our client portal.

3. Data We Collect

  • Contact & Business Info: name, email, phone, company, job title, facility details (legal name, address, country), FEI/FFR/DUNS (if provided).
  • Account & Usage: login credentials, role/permissions, activity logs, device/browser & analytics data (IP address, cookies).
  • Communications: emails, chat, and support correspondence.
  • Billing: billing contact, payment method tokens (processed by third-party providers; we do not store full card numbers).

4. How We Use Data

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including acting as your U.S. Agent).
  • Issue the Assurentry U.S. Agent Acceptance Letter and route FDA communications to your designated contacts.
  • Communicate with you (support, notices, updates).
  • Analytics, security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data based on: (a) contract (to provide Services); (b) legitimate interests (e.g., security, improvement, B2B marketing with controls); (c) consent (where required); and (d) legal obligations.

6. Sharing of Data

We share data with service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, email, payment, CRM) under contract; with your consent; to comply with law; to protect rights/safety; or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal data.

7. International Transfers

We may transfer data to the U.S. and other countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).

8. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and meet legal/operational requirements. Retention periods vary by record type.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to processing. To exercise rights, contact privacy@assurentry.com. You may opt out of marketing at any time.

11. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, analytics, and improvements. Manage preferences through your browser or our cookie banner (if implemented).

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Policy periodically. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.
